Map & Compass: Neuro-Developmental Therapy

Service Description

This service is offered to parents and carers who are looking for advice outside of the INPP or JIAS consultations. This is usually within 5 categories and multiple categories can be discussed at one session: 1. Education: Tori Sheppard is an experienced educator who can offer prescriptive, appropriate and nurturing curriculum advice for children who are unable to attend school due to neurodevelopmental challenges or disability. 2. Parenting: Guidance for raising children to give them the best opportunities for optimum development physically, mentally and emotionally including specific developmental advice for pregnancy, birth, infants and toddlers. 3. Nutrition/Biochemical: Tori Sheppard is not a nutritional therapist and instead refers to qualified Nutritional Therapists for lab/mineral testing analysis. Advice is given to access this if needed and current nutritional guidance to support neurodevelopmental issues is given especially as it relates to indicators that may have been raised at the Initial Consultation. 4. If your child is unable to access INPP or JIAS for any number of reasons, Map & Compass still seeks to help families set a path towards HOPE. Tori Sheppard will work with you to create a bespoke path of care and therapy/treatment that is suited for your child with a written set of referrals and holistic guidance notes. 5. Neurodevelopmental Education: Although effort is made within the programmes that Map & Compass offers to deliver a foundational understanding of reflexes and development, this is an opportunity to go deeper in your understanding of reflex integration and auditory stimulation as well as more thoroughly understanding neurodevelopmental challenges like Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Auditory Processing issues, Anxiety and others. This service is offered online and in person and can be accessed from anywhere in the world.
